Stop squatting and start gaining muscle in the right places

Many guys make the mistake of concentrating all their efforts in the gym on getting stronger on the big movements like squats, deadlifts & bench press.

The problem with this plan is that you can add muscle in areas which aren't attractive.

Squats build huge thighs and butt. Is that what you really want?

Girls are attracted to guys like David Beckham, Brad Pitt & Ryan Gosling not because they're huge, but because the have a good amount of muscle in the right places.

A much better approach is to follow a gym routine which aims to pack on muscle on the visually important areas - like the chest, shoulders and arms.

Rusty Moore has designed a program which does exactly that - it's called Visual Impact Muscle Building and you can have it sent to you by email on this page.

How to workout without getting bulky

It seems most workout programs these days are designed with the purpose of getting the lifter as huge as possible. But not everyone wants to look like a big bulky body builder.

How to create the lean, toned look...
If you want to be lean with toned muscles then you need to keep volume low and avoid fatiguing muscles. In plain English that means:

  • Keep sets and reps low (both under 5)
  • Keep rest periods between sets high (3-5 minutes)
  • Avoid lactic acid burn from higher reps (keep reps 5 or under)
If you can follow these 3 tips then you will be able to work on getting stronger without getting bulky. This will create the lean, toned muscles which look much more aesthetically pleasing than huge body builder muscles.

If you want a full system which is already set up for these exact goals then I recommend Visual Impact. This is designed to build a lean, toned, Hollywood actor style body and teaches you all the details as well as giving you workouts to follow. It really takes the thinking out of trying to design your own program.

Visual Impact Muscle Building Download

Rusty Moore's Visual Impact Muscle Building is available to download here:

Rusty Moore has created a new system to build muscle - by focusing on the so called visual muscles instead of just getting huge thighs and butt. This creates a visually appealing body in the style of popular Hollywood actors like Ryan Reynolds and Brad Pitt.

It is a fairly high volume workout which focuses more on upper body workouts, letting high intensity cardio (HIIT) take care of the legs. Rusty is a big fan on combining free weight exercises with machines to really fatigue the muscles and build muscle where it is really needed most.

If you want the body of a Hollywood actor then you need to download Visual Impact:

Brad Pitt Workout

Most workout programmes develop a larger, stronger body, with no care about looks. But if you are looking for a Brad Pitt workout then you are looking for a workout to get you lean and toned. Sure you want muscles, but not huge puffy muscles - you want a nice lean Hollywood actor style of body.

Visual Impact is a workout of the style Brad Pitt would have used to get ready to shoot Fight Club. It tells you exactly how to build a sensible amount of muscle whilst getting lean to show them off.

Visual Impact Muscle Building Review

Let's take a moment to stop and look at the photo above. What do you see? A lean guy, with some muscle definition. That look is what Visual Impact will build. Normally the advice you get from so called fitness experts is to squat and deadlift more and more weight. That's great if you want to become super strong or you just want to be huge. Sure that will work, but do you really want to be a bigger version of what you are now? The secret of Visual Impact Muscle Building is that it create the lean Hollywood look which girls really appreciate. Most girls aren't interested in guys who look like huge bodybuilders or powerlifters. They want a guy to have some muscle whilst being lean - lean enough to see abs. You don't want to look like you spend all day in a gym - that's just a sad look, which is thankfully dying now.

So what exactly is Visual Impact Muscle Building? Well firstly it has a PDF manual which serves to re-educate you if you think the so called big 3 movements are the be all and end all. Turns out squats, deadlifts and benchpresses won't create a great visual look. After explaining how not to train Rusty Moore then goes on to detail exactly how you should train to create an attractive body. Probably his most controversial piece of advice is not working legs too much once a base level of muscle has been reached. Once you have added the muscle to your legs and butt which should have been there naturally he recommends leaving intense cardio to take care of the legs, possibly adding in some deadlifts. Most of the workout routine is concentrated on working the muscles which will create the Hollywood look - the chest, shoulders, six pack abs, lats and arms.

One thing I really like about the set up is that Rusty is keen that you don't need to follow Visual Impact 100% exactly - he gives you the tools to customise the program to your needs. Got big shoulders but a weak chest? No problem? Need to concentrate on your biceps? He explains exactly how to do that.

He also goes into detail about how to structure your diet so you can create the body you want both in the gym and in the kitchen.

Another great idea from Rusty is splitting the workout into 3 phases:

  • Phase 1 - Sarcoplasmic Hypertrophy (build muscle quickly)
  • Phase 2 - Increase Muscle Density (create permanently toned, hard muscles)
  • Phase 3 - Max Density & Definition (the fat loss phase)
So no matter if you are starting as a skinny guy or bigger guy you can again customise the routine to suit your exact needs. Each phase lasts 2 months but again this can be adapted. Need to lose more fat? Just do phase 3 for longer etc.

Included in Visual Impact Muscle Building is also a bonus phase where you are taught how to make your skin stretch tight over your newly built muscles - creating a super sharp lean look.

As well as the main manual you also get details on how to perform the exercises (plus exercise substitutions) as well as a printable workout chart you can take to the gym with you.

Overall I can honestly recommend VIMB - it's a routine I've used myself for around 5 months now. Being able to look great in fitted clothing without that "I spend all day in a gym" look is worth it alone.

There's some videos you can watch about Visual Impact Muscle Building here. It also includes details on how to download the PDFs.
